Your Disability Is A Gift - Give A Little Bit With It.
Happy New Year everyone! What better way to kick off 2018 than with some Goo Goo Dolls music showing us the importance of reaching out to as many people as we can! We have the ability to use our battle against our disability to reach out to more people than a lot of other people. If you’re having a hard time believing me, you might want to keep scrolling down because it’s very important!
We were given this challenge because we are strong enough to handle it. Why not show the world your strength and inspire them at the same time? When people see you battling cancer, epilepsy, autism, etc. they quickly realize how tough you are. It also puts their life in perspective showing them that they may go through hard times, but there are greater challenges out there. Did you just read that? In a span of a minute, you just changed someone’s outlook on their life!
Every day we give a little bit of inspiration, faith, love and strength to others, and a lot of us don’t even realize it. It took me a couple years to figure this out, but I want each and every one of you to realize it tomorrow. You were given both a challenge and a gift with your disability. With your disability you were given the gift of inspiring others. You’ll truly be surprised by what inspiration can do to someone. It can heal them and give them strength to carry on in their life. I’m counting on you to use your disability to your advantage every day!
Please please, give a little bit of inspiration and love to your family, friends and even people you may not know. It will go a LONG way!
